Biography

Alison Hershewe was born in St. Joseph, Missouri in 1962. She received her B.G.S. from Missouri Southern State College in 1990 and graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina in 1994 where she received her J.D. She was admitted to the Missouri Bar and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri in 1994. She was admitted into the Kansas Bar and U.S. District Court, District of Kansas and Arkansas in 1995.

She was a member of the ATLA Mock Trial Team from 1992–1994 and a member of the North Carolina Law Review from 1993–1994. She is also a member of The Missouri Bar, The American Bar Association, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. She is the author of Survey on Recent Developments in Law--Evidence--Rape Shield Statute--Witnesses--State v. Guthrie, 110 N.C. App. 91, 428 S.E. 2d853 (1993), 72 N.C.L Rev. 1977.
